Porcelain Avocado Plate

Playful plates with a nerikomi avocado design.

The avocado design was created using layers of colored clay. I sliced through the layers to expose a cross section of the avocado. The cross section was inlaid into a slab of porcelain clay and a plate was hand built from this slab.

All glazes are food/dishwasher safe.
