Cracked Fern Mug

A generous mug for the nature lover.

Created from black clay with impressed spirea leaf prints. A porcelain slip was added around the outside, then the mug was stretched from the inside. This created the crackle texture similar to birch bark. The rim and handle have been glazed sage green.

This mug holds approximately 14 ounces. Two are available.
