4" Nerikomi Planter

Speckled clay is the background for this earth toned planter and drain tray.

Layers of colored porcelain clay were stacked together to create the nerikomi pattern. I took thin slices of the cane and inlaid them into speckled clay. The slabs of inlaid clay were hand built into a planter and matching drain tray. 

This pot stands 4" tall and 4" wide.
